Your partner doesn't need to show up for something to change. You're allowed to start without them.
What this actually is
One-on-one work on your relationship patterns — communication, conflict, boundaries, trust, jealousy, attachment — with or without your partner (or partners) ever setting foot in the room. It's not couples therapy, but it still moves things.
THIS PAGE IS FOR YOU IF:
You're stuck arguing on repeat, feeling disconnected, or walking on eggshells with a partner
Your partner won't or can't come to therapy, and you want to work on it anyway
You're navigating jealousy, boundaries, or trust — polyamorous or non-monogamous relationships included
You don't know if you want to stay or go, and want clarity before you decide anything
We look at your patterns and relationship blueprints — not to hand out blame, but to figure out what's actually yours to change. Sometimes that's communication. Sometimes it's attachment wounds, or old beliefs about relationships you inherited from religion, family, or culture and never actually chose. I haven't met your partner. I'm not a referee, I'm on your side of the table.

Common Questions

Couples therapy puts both people in the room, working on the relationship together. This is one-on-one — your patterns, your reactions, what's yours to change.
-
Yes — monogamy isn't the assumed default here. Jealousy, communication across multiple partners, figuring out your own needs in a polycule — all fair game.
-
Yes — I'm not pushing you toward staying or leaving. This is space to get clear on what you actually want, so whatever you decide, it's actually yours.
-
No — I've only heard one side of this story, so I'm not appointing myself judge of your partner. My focus stays on you and what's actually in your control.
-
Not right now. I'm seeing women and gender-nonconforming adults. Wayward's team is growing, and that will open up. Join the waitlist to hear when it does.
