Wayward Therapy Collective is a fully online, cash-pay therapy practice built for the people who left the path they were handed and are still figuring out what to build instead.
We work with folks untangling themselves from the status quo: heteronormative relationship ideals, mandatory monogamy, purity culture, or high-control religious systems. Or anyone who's simply done playing by rules that were never actually theirs. We help unpack the beliefs, the guilt, and the version of yourself you were told to be.
That includes people leaving Mormonism — Arizona has one of the country's largest LDS communities, and we know that story specifically. It also includes people leaving evangelical fundamentalism, rigid ideological movements, or controlling relationships. Grief, anger, relief, and a strange kind of homesickness for something that hurt you can all be true at once.
We're not here to talk you out of any of it.

How we work
We use an Equitable Payment Structure instead of a single flat rate — because access to good therapy shouldn't depend on catching us on a slow month. Choose the rate that's honest for where you are right now: a Support Rate, a Market Rate, or a Redistribution Rate for those who can pay it forward. No proof of income, no awkward conversation. Just an honest question and an honest answer.
Where we’re headed
Wayward is growing into a collective, not staying a solo practice. And, as we grow, we're building toward clinicians who offer affirming care for kink and BDSM, polyamory and ENM, and LGBTQIA+ identities and affirming care.
